At Healing Touch Career College, a college which exclusively helps students become either medical assistants or massage therapists, students will enter a program that features classes Monday through Thursdays. Students are given a ten minute break for each hour of class instruction.

Hinds provides students with a medical assistant degree program that will take two years to complete. The program is broken up into two semester per year.

The cost of tuition is based, too, on semesters (the price can change depending on whether you are a full-time or part-time student).

Northeast Mississippi offers a medical assistant technology program to its students.

At the Jackson campus, Virginia College offers students a diploma program, which is 60 credits long and will take at least 55 weeks to complete. Tuition will cost approximately $22,600.

By contrast, the Biloxi campus offers students the chance to get either a diploma or a degree. The diploma program at Biloxi is still a 55-week program that costs $22,600. However, students who prefer to stay in school longer and earn a degree can expect an 88 weeklong course that costs $36,100 for tuition and fees.
